Our property team has experience in major residential and commercial property developments, including advising on structuring, funding, site acquisition, sub-division and preparation of off the plan contracts for sale.
 
We act on behalf of shopping centre owners and property developers in all stages of the project including:

  • Advising on the structure of the transaction and the parties involved and drafting the relevant documentation, including joint venture agreements and other development agreements
  • Advising and acting on the finance of the project
  • Advising and acting on the site acquisition
  • Advising and acting on the sub-division, including strata-sub-division and community title
  • Drafting contracts for the sales of the developed lots including off-the plan contracts
  • Drafting and acting on commercial and/or retail leases for the premises, which may or may not be intended to be sold.  These may be in the form of agreements to lease conditional upon the development on the site

Our developments have included major shopping centres, commercial city buildings as well as commercial and residential developments in the Sydney metropolitan area, Sydney’s northwest and regional centres.
