1991
The firm commenced trading as McCabe Brown in Sydney, a commercial and litigation practice with a total staff of 10.
1992
Inception of the firm’s insurance practice.
1997
The firm became known as McCabes Lawyers.
2001
McCabe Terrill Lawyers founded through the merging of McCabes Lawyers in Sydney and Craig Terrill & Associates in Melbourne and Brisbane to develop a greater presence in the major eastern capital cities.
2008
A new strategic alliance was formed with HBM Lawyers, a major presence in the insurance industry since 1946, enhancing the firm's presence in Brisbane.
